WeWake Tech has been qualified to join the innovation competition in Challenge & Innovation Forum (CIF) taking place in Doha, Qatar between 7-11 November 2021. It is the international forum that 60 teams from 46 countries around the world were qualified to join the final event to win $250,000 award in total. However, the award may be not the big deal but the involvement in a big international event as CIF is the core.
At the first place before WeWake Tech’s team were told that we were qualified to join the event, we had experienced in frustrated waiting for the result after submitting the application. Since there were so many innovation around the world had applied. The selection procedure period had taken so long and we had never heard any news about our application. What we had been able to do was just waiting. Until near the end of September, we had been told to be scheduled in online interviewing before the qualified result was sent to us via email on the 10th of October, at last we got a seat.
After that we got a month to prepare everything to participate in the event. CIF event mangement team contacted several times via email asking for our representative information and confirmation letter to bring our innovation to participate. CIF kindly provided travel ticket and accommodation for one representative each. We had considered to send four members of WeWake Tech to join, one coming from Germany and other three from Thailand. Unfortunately, due to Corona Virus pandemic causing so many difficulties then we had to decide to send only two participants, one from Germany and one from Thailand.
Our content and art designer, Miss Slynrya, faced not much trouble traveling from Germany. She was vaccinated two doses of Pfizer then she got approval permission to enter Qatar by only doing PCR test before 72 hours before arrival. But a member of our developer team, Mr.Warutdhon traveling from Thailand, had to struggle to get the approval permission from Qatar Gov. He was vaccinated by vaccine being considered as conditionally approval vaccine. Apart from PCR test as Miss Slynrya did, Serology test was also required.
Eventually, on the 6th of November both arrived at Doha safely with warm welcome and hospitality from CIF’s team.
CIF has provide free accommodation and meals in a luxury hotel including transportation services for all formal representatives. However, the schedule of the event was also arranged as hardly having time to breath.
We hope that our representatives, Slynrya & Warutdhon, will experience good perception, enjoin and have fun in this great event. We also has to express many thanks to CIF’s team for giving us an opportunity to exhibit our innovation and giving an excellent taking care our members.
